Amajita coach Thabo Senong is not the right man for the job. They should’ve seen this a while ago.
1. His style of play is too cautious, let the kids play man, that’s not how you develop future national team players. By the time they get to Bafana Bafana they will still be afraid to express themselves and Bafana Bafana will be stuck where it is now.
2. He has failed to identify the best U20 players eligible for South Africa. You can’t tell me that those were the best U20 players we have. We have so many players playing abroad in good, organized and competitive reserve leagues and academies, some even close to the first team, yet he prefers MultiChoice Diski Challenge players and boys from Cape Umoya etc…
3. He can’t even use the best of the nonsense he has picked. You have obvious choices in Lyle Foster (best player), Khanya Leshabela (plays at a higher level than all those players yet can get 30 seconds), Sibusiso Mabiliso (only player with real PSL experience) and Promise Mkhuma (exciting speedy player who could’ve punished Korea).
Overall analysis: Terrible coach and a terrible group of players.
