SA Under-17 start preparing for 2015 AYC

The South African Men’s Under-17 National Team, Amajimbos, are attending a training camp in Johannesburg in preparation for the next year’s CAF African Youth Championship that will take place in Niger from 15 February to 1 March.

Head coach Molefi Ntseki has named a squad of 22 players for the training camp.

All the players have reported for camp except for striker Vuyo Mantjie of Harmony Academy in the FREE State Province. He has been withdrawn from the squad due to an injury and will not be replaced.

The players started camp on Tuesday, 16 December and will end on Sunday, 21 December.

The squad had two training sessions on Wednesday, 17 December and will have one each on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
