DISKIFANS readers got a chance of a life time to ask their favourite Kaizer Chiefs striker questions thanks to Futurelife. Here are the best five questions that were selected which Futurelife ambassador, Bernard Parker, answered.
Sihle Bigkid Zikode: Hey Mr. Parker! How is the injury so far? What are you promising us as Kaizer Chiefs supporters this season?
Bernard Parker: The injury is almost 100%; I been cleared for full training with the team as well as getting fit now and catching up with the lads. Every time I get a chance to play I promise the supporters 100% on the field.
Martin Magayisa Mubi: Heita Bennito! Speedy recovery my favourite striker. My question is: how are you going to improve in terms of scoring goals?
For us strikers it is about timing, being at the right places in the box and working on your technique… and finishing!
Thabiso Khoza: Hola Mr. Parker, I trust you are recovering well. Which partnership are you looking forward to upfront? Siphelele Mthembu and Bernard Parker or Kingston Nkhatha and Bernard Parker or Katlego Mphela and Bernard Parker?
Haha… I’m used to Kingston; I have been playing with Killer at Bafana and still am still trying to study what Mthembu’s qualities are. I’m sure the coaches will see what combination works for us.
Jez Mukwevho: If you received an offer to go play overseas again, would you go? And my second question is: Which player, currently not at Kaizer Chiefs, in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) would you sign if you could?
I’m really enjoying my football here at home and I’m happy I’ve got my family. If Manchester United or Manchester City or Liverpool comes, why not!!! Hahaha… I enjoy playing with Oupa (Manyisa) at Bafana Bafana.
Veli Richardinho Dlamini: What’s your take on the new Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba?
He has a great eye for identifying quality upcoming footballers … future Bafana.
