The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has announced its verdict on two separate matters that were concluded last night, 16 May 2017.
LUC EYMAEL: Mr Luc Nico Eymael was charged with contravening an Order of the League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber dated 14 April 2017 in terms of which Mr Eymael was ordered to resume his duties as coach with Polokwane City FC.
Mr Eymael was found guilty and sentenced to a fine of R 100 000.00 of which R 75 000.00 was suspended until 30 June 2018, or until a final order is granted by a competent body setting aside the Order of the League’s DRC dated 14 April 2017 or receipt by the League of written confirmation from Polokwane City FC releasing Mr Eymael from any further obligations to Polokwane City FC.
The suspension of a part of the fine is on condition that Mr. Eymael does not take part in any football related activities other than for and on behalf of Polokwane City FC during the period of suspension.
Mr Eymael was ordered to pay the costs of sitting.
JOMO COSMOS: Jomo Cosmos FC were charged with misconduct pursuant to a NFD fixture played on 16 April 2017 against Thanda Royal Zulu FC at the Tsakane Stadium where the club’s representative arrived late for the pre-match meeting in contravention of the Compliance Manual.
The club was fined R 10 000.00.
