The two clubs do not just represent their badge but they carry the South African flag and the hopes of the entire country. On behalf of the League, I would like to wish both Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United the best of luck.
The PSL CEO added: “I believe last year revived the appetite and hunger of many South African clubs for continental glory. More than ever before, we all know the importance of excelling at this level as a country. Orlando Pirates went to the finals of the CAF Champions League, this year, we have to aim for a step further. It is therefore important for the football loving public to go in numbers and back our teams as we make yet another attempt to conquer continental club football.”
