The Premier Soccer League (PSL) announced on Saturday that Golden Arrows were delayed on the N1 following the bus accident between Kranskop and Modimolle on Friday.
A statement from the PSL read, “The Premier Soccer League hereby announces the change of kick-off time of the Telkom Knockout round of 16 fixture between Baroka FC and Lamontville Golden Arrows.
“The fixture was initially scheduled for 15h30 today. However, circumstances beyond our control have necessitated a change. The fixture will now kick-off at 20h15.
“Lamontville Golden Arrows were stuck for hours on the N1 following the tragic bus accident that claimed over 20 lives last night. The club only arrived at the hotel this morning after spending the better part of the night on the N1. The League would like to apologise for the inconvenience. The venue (Old Peter Mokaba Stadium) will remain the same.”
